San Angelo ISD is excited to offer a free, one-day Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Kids Camp this summer to current 2nd - 5th grade SAISD students. Our goal is to bring STEM to life in a fun, engaging manner, and at no charge to students.
Families may register students to attend one of two camp dates, either Wednesday, July 13th or Thursday, July 14th. The camp will take place from 8:30am to 3:50pm at Belaire Elementary School.
At the camp, students will participate in four sessions designed for exploration, creation and problem-solving, all taught by SAISD teachers. Sessions are divided by grade level and include topics such as coding, Makerspace, robotics, drones, rocketry and more. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Online registration opens next Tuesday, May 17th at 8:00am and closes Friday, May 20th at 6:00pm. Enrollment is granted on a first-come first-served basis. Parents will be notified of enrollment or waitlist on May 27th.
Full session descriptions and registration can be found at www.saisd.org/stemkidscamp.
