Central High School Announcements

Now is the time to take care of business!!! All fines & fees need to be taken care of before the end of the semester for ALL grades.  Please take a moment to check Home Access to see if you have a balance or stop by the Student Services Center.  If you have textbooks, those need to be turned in as well.  If you are a Senior, all iPads, chargers, textbooks, library books, and fees must be turned in before you can get your graduation stuff.  Help us, help you. 

Seniors you must pay your fines/fees and return iPads and chargers!! We will be accepting them any time this week or next week as follows with last name starting with:

May 23 – A through H

May 24 – I through M

May 25 – N through S

May 26 – T through Z

Reminder that you will not receive your cap & gown until you are cleared.  Please stop by Student Service Center to take care of business.

Reminder that ALL fines/fees must be paid using cash or checks only.

FCA will have it’s last meeting on Thursday in Carlyle 103 during the second half of lunch.  We will honor our seniors as they share their last words of wisdom.  Bring a friend and something to eat!  Let’s end the year on a high note!!!

Hey Bobcats, we are down to 9 days of school left!! With that in mind let’s remember to buckle up and practice safe driving.

From the cafeteria, today’s lunch options are Large Beef Nachos Supreme or Bean and Cheese Burritos together with your choices of Seasoned Pinto Beans, Spanish Rice, Fiesta Salad Bowl, Fresh Baby Carrots, Sliced Sweet Peaches, Milk and Juice.  Remember the first student breakfast and/or lunch is FREE every day!   A second student lunch is $3.00, and an adult lunch with milk or tea is just $4.25.

There will be an  FCA Leadership informational meeting today in Mrs. Willis’ room (Carlyle 103) during the second half of lunch.  If you turned in an application or are interested in applying, please come today!  You can bring your lunch and be ready to ask lots of questions!  See you there!

Please come out to hear the Central Choirs present their end-of-year Spring Concert TONIGHT at 7:00pm at Holy Angels Church. We hope you'll join us in celebrating a wonderful year of award-winning music and musicians. The concert is free, and we will be recognizing our seniors. It will be an amazing concert – please come!

SAISD Educators Honored by Market Street

San Angelo ISD proudly celebrates four educators selected as Market Street outstanding teachers for going above and beyond to make a difference with students in San Angelo, and who were honored last night by Market Street at the SAISD May Board Meeting, including:

  • Kendra Albarado, Lake View High School Biology/Environmental Systems teacher and Head Tennis coach,
  • Miranda Chavez, Glenn Middle School English teacher,
  • Tara Kellicut, Glenn Middle School English teacher, and 
  • Veronica Stapper, Glenmore Elementary School, Second Grade teacher. 
SAISD Communications Team Brings Home Nine State Awards

This School Communicators Day, SAISD celebrates the District Communications Team, including Jack Wilcox, Communications Specialist, Molly Johnson Turk, Director of Community Relations, Alba Banuelos, Receptionist, and Whitney Watson Wood, Executive Director of Communications, who were honored with nine state awards at the 2022 Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) Conference, including a Crystal Certificate of Merit, six Gold Star Awards, and two Bronze Star Awards. The awards honored work from the previous school year, and were announced at TSPRA’s 60th annual Star Awards Celebration held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in Round Rock, Texas.

STEM Camp 2021

San Angelo ISD is excited to offer a free, one-day Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Kids Camp this summer to current 2nd - 5th grade SAISD students. Our goal is to bring STEM to life in a fun, engaging manner, and at no charge to students.

 

San Angelo ISD Announces May Graduation Ceremonies to Celebrate the Class of 2022

San Angelo ISD is excited and proud to announce our 2022 graduation ceremonies celebrating Central High School, Lake View High School and PAYS students are scheduled to be held in-person at the following dates, times and locations:

All ceremonies will be live-streamed from the District website at www.saisd.org/graduation.
